As part of its strategy to expand its activity in the stationary gas engine oil market in the U.S.A., Q8Oils has announced the signing of a major distribution agreement with Old World Industries.
Old World Industries was founded in the United States more than 40 year ago and operates under the Peak brand. They are a market leader in the U.S. Glycol-Antifreeze market, which they already supply to gas engine operators and maintenance companies. As a lubricant specialist in the industrial and commercial sectors, Peak has establish a reputation through its vast sales & marketing network for product innovation in the automotive, trucking, mining, construction, and agricultural markets. The companies’ credentials are therefore well suited for its expansion into the gas engine sector for natural gas compression, as well as energy generated from landfill and bio gas.
Based in Europe, Q8Oils operates in the U.S. under the Roloil brand. Developed more than 25 years ago, the Q8 Mahler range of gas engine oils can be found today in more than 3,700 engines in Europe, Asia, Africa, North America and Australia. Stationary gas engines are used for power and heat generation and the Q8 Mahler range has original equipment manufacturer approvals from companies such as Caterpillar, GE-Jenbacher, Waukesha, Perkins, Rolls-Royce, MAN and many more.
